About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Contract Manager to join our team at NCS Australia. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the commercial contract management of complex transactions across our enterprise.

As a Commercial Contract Manager, you will work closely with our Managed Services Leads and Legal team, reporting directly to the Delivery Excellence Lead. Your primary focus will be on protecting NCS interests and profitability while managing all aspects of contractual operationalisation and delivery on key complex transactions across Enterprise and Government customers.

This role requires a strong understanding of contract management, procurement, and IT delivery. You will actively identify delivery and productivity risks, streamline and simplify the post-contracting process for our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage large teams and run cross-functional projects/teams to deliver outcomes in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contract schedules, statements of work, variations, and change requests to completion with minimal reliance on Legal support.
  • Lead sophisticated commercial disputes to closure.
  • Develop relationships with customers, vendors, partners, and develop processes for the business on a broad range of operational and commercial aspects.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in commercial contract management roles obtained from Tier 1 IT/technology businesses.
  • Demonstrable ability in managing large teams, running cross-functional projects/teams, and delivering outcomes in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Relevant Contract Management and project management experience.
  • Strong commercial, business, negotiation skills, and risk management experience.
