Project Management Opportunity

Are you an experienced project manager looking to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a skilled professional to lead subdivision projects across the Newcastle and Central Coast region.

About the Role: As a project manager, you will be responsible for monitoring project progress in terms of quality, timeliness, and budgets. You will also be required to demonstrate financial management skills and commercial acumen when making decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor project progress and ensure it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement effective project plans and strategies to achieve project goals.
  • Lead and manage a team of project, site, and graduate engineers to deliver successful projects.
  • Ensure effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and develop strategies to overcome challenges.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in project management, particularly in subdivisions.
  • Competent in planning and organizing work schedules and delivering to timelines.
  • Ability to provide active professional direction to supervise management of works contracts, monitor contractor progress, and negotiate variations, claims, and other issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Tertiary degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering with relevant years of experience in the construction industry.
