About the ICT Security Role:

This key position will contribute to ICT security governance across various systems and network services. This encompasses complex gateway services, cloud solutions, secure mobility initiatives, network infrastructure, computing systems, and desktop delivery platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical system assessments and analysis for IT Security teams.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with technical teams to enhance ICT security practices.
  • Undertake ICT system security control evaluations, working closely with project stakeholders to achieve milestones.
  • Support the implementation of ICT Security policies and best practices in line with the agency's security strategy.
  • Conduct effective ICT security threat and risk assessments, leveraging relevant tools and expertise.

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum 5 years' experience as a security specialist, with expertise in security architecture and risk management.
  • Proven track record of ensuring technical systems comply with Essential Eight, ISM, and PSPF frameworks.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Australian Citizenship and a TSPV clearance are essential qualifications.
