About the Role

As a Paid Social Director, you will lead the development of comprehensive growth strategies for social platforms, collaborating with editorial and audience growth teams. You will guide the execution of these strategies by channel, creating a push and pull content ecosystem across owned and off-platform channels.

You will drive growth with existing audiences and attract new audiences to key marquee brands or platforms. This includes exploring and evaluating emerging or niche social platforms to expand brand presence, assessing potential benefits and risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing a comprehensive growth strategy for social platforms, collaborating with editorial and audience growth teams

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in digital media management, with a track record of successful social media strategies
  • A strong understanding of digital publishing principles, content optimisation, and platform-specific best practices
  • Experience leading and managing a social media team, with the ability to delegate tasks and drive team success
  • Strategic thinking, with the ability to develop innovative social media strategies aligned with business goals and audience interests
