Senior Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join our team. As a Service Engineer, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional technical support to our customers.
The ideal candidate will have formal qualifications in an electronic/ engineering/IT field and experience in servicing precision equipment or IT support. Strong IT knowledge, computer literacy, and networking skills are essential for success in this position.
You will be responsible for maintaining effective relationships with customers, performing onsite repairs, and upgrading software as needed. Additionally, you will provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and communicate effectively with customers and other vendors.
To excel in this role, you should possess strong organizational and communication skills, be able to work autonomously, and demonstrate a high level of motivation and drive to achieve results.
- Maintain effective customer relationships by gaining respect and trust
- Onsite repairs, diagnostics, and installation of high-end products and software
- Upgrade software and apply patches as necessary
- Strong troubleshooting skills and technical support for customers
- May consult with vendors to resolve technical issues
- Communicate technical issues on a non-technical level
- Detailed time management and networking experience
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
- Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills
- Maintain service tools and equipment and accurate compliance of all field service administration and reporting requirements
