Support and Learning Specialist

Key Role Information:
This role is highly valued and well-supported within the school community. The team works closely with the School Counsellor and Department of Education Support Services to support students with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
The Learning Support Team Coordinator plays a vital part in ensuring students receive the necessary support to reach their full potential.
The coordinator's responsibilities include submitting Access Requests, reviewing Integration Funding submissions, managing School Learning Support Officers, and coordinating their professional learning. Additionally, they support teachers with Personalised Learning Pathways for First Nations Students and develop Personalised Learning, Support and Behaviour Plans as required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist assistance to students in regular classes with additional learning needs.
- Design and implement differentiated lessons for students in a K-6 setting.
- Demonstrate exceptional time management and organisational skills to achieve desired outcomes.
- Exhibit outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to achieve desired outcomes for teachers, students, and families.
Work Conditions:
This is a permanent part-time position for 3 days per week (0.6 FTE).
