Job Description:

Maintenance Managers play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of mechanical and electrical systems across our resort. They oversee daily operations, staff development, and task allocation to maintain high performance standards within the department.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Educating staff and guests on policies regarding flora, fauna, and pollution
  • Participating in public relations exercises and providing punctual service to guests
  • Recruiting, training, and developing trade colleagues
  • Managing departmental performance and introducing apprenticeship programs
  • Liasing with Trade SMEs and ensuring licensing requirements are met
  • Troubleshooting engineering problems and maintaining quality records

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A valid Electrical Trade qualification and high voltage switching certification is highly desirable
  • A Queensland General Safety Induction Card is required
  • Operational management or construction management experience of 3-5 years is preferred
