Job Title: Plant Operations Specialist

As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and mechanical integrity of our facility. This is your opportunity to bring your knowledge and skillset into a role where you can make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring that the plant and all machinery/equipment are functioning at optimal levels to maximise throughput and efficiency
  • Completing all required work orders with minimal disruption to the production schedule
  • Maintaining a detailed work history captured through our maintenance management system
  • Coordinating and implementing upcoming planned maintenance and project work
  • Utilising your knowledge and experience to efficiently identify faults and rectify them under pressure
  • Conducting general cleaning and housekeeping of areas, tools, and machinery
  • Working closely with the maintenance manager and planner to ensure all safety-related issues and risks to the plant and equipment are identified, resolved, and captured
About You:
  • You are a trade-qualified mechanical fitter & turner
  • You have a solid understanding of maintenance, engineering, and production processes within an FMCG manufacturing environment
  • You are passionate about safety, ensuring that yourself and your colleagues operate in a safe manner and adhere to established procedures
  • You possess excellent communication skills
  • You can effectively manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously without compromising quality
  • You have the ability to focus on repetitive tasks while maintaining a high level of performance
  • You are a team player who gets along with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures
  • You have a passion for continuous improvement and process optimisation
