Quality Control Specialist: Welding and Inspection
">We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Specialist to ensure the quality and integrity of our products. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting production parts, assemblies, and welds to ensure compliance with Australian standards and production drawings.
">About the Role">- Inspect production parts, assemblies, and welds using measurement equipment, jigs, and drawing information;
- Coordinate and work with contractors to facilitate required 3rd-party quality testing/inspections;
- Perform magnetic particle testing (MPI) weld testing;
- Complete inspection reports for weld traceability and client reporting;
- Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control;
- Holding MEM B certification - perform basic magnetic particle testing;
- Demonstrated experience in performing weld inspectors' certification or higher;
- 5-7 years' experience as trade certification – Fabrication/boilermaker;
- 2 years of previous in-process inspection or manufacturing QC experience;
