Key Responsibilities:
  • Consult with clients to establish project requirements and scope.
  • Lead the design, development, implementation, and commissioning of complex engineering solutions.
  • Identify and execute process improvements to enhance plant efficiency, reliability, and throughput.
  • Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting across various sites and business functions.
  • Conduct proof testing and compliance auditing of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.


Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronic, or similar).
  • Minimum 5 years' relevant industry experience.
  • Proficiency with major PLC/SCADA platforms (e.g., Rockwell, Schneider, Siemens, Citect, Ignition).
  • Strong technical proficiency with IEC 61131-3 standard programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of industrial networks.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously in remote and high-pressure environments.
  • Sound knowledge of AS/NZS standards, functional safety, and site commissioning protocols.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Australian citizenship or valid Australian work visa.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Client-focused with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
