The Role:
- Assume responsibility for coordinating daily rosters, ensuring employee work availability is optimized at all times with minimal shift disruptions.
This role operates in a fast-paced environment requiring efficient time management and prioritization to achieve operational stability for residents, their families, and visiting healthcare professionals.
The key purpose of this role will be to manage and communicate all front-line employees' shifts via our centralized rostering tool in Humanforce across day, afternoon, and night shift patterns.
This position is integral to all staffing outcomes across the home 7 days a week, 24 hours shift rotations.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage master rosters to optimize existing employee work availability at all times with minimum shift disruptions, including dealing with sickness and leave requests.
- Coordinate backfilling and casual workforce optimization.
- Request and manage labour hire workforce.
- Partner closely with corporate rostering team to ensure accurate and up-to-date rostering system data enabling forecasting for better resource management.
- Train staff on site-based systems, welcome and train new employees.
- Maintain confidential rostering information as per company policies and code of conduct expectations.
- Collaborate with senior members of the care home to ensure employees feel welcomed, supported, and information is shared easily across teams delivering high-quality resident care.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects on process, engagement, experience, and systems to ensure operations run smoothly for residents and their families.
