Job Overview

This is a unique opportunity to work on complex matters with global impact. As an Associate in our Corporate team, you will:

  • Advise on a mix of Mergers and Acquisitions, corporate advisory, and commercial transactions
  • Support senior lawyers on cross-border deals and large-scale strategic transactions
  • Draft and negotiate key transaction documents and conduct due diligence
  • Gain exposure to international workstreams through our firm's global platform

The Sydney Corporate team is part of a globally integrated transactional practice, known for its high-end Mergers and Acquisitions and private equity work. The team advises local and international clients on complex corporate deals, including governance, foreign investment, joint ventures, and Initial Public Offerings.

We are working with a global firm renowned for its cross-border capability and strong presence in the Australian market. Our firm offers access to leading transactions, international secondment opportunities, and an inclusive culture built around development and growth.

The role requires strong technical skills and commercial acumen, as well as excellent drafting, research, and communication skills. A proactive, collaborative approach and interest in cross-border work are also essential.

A strong academic record and 2–5 years' experience in corporate law, with strong exposure to Mergers and Acquisitions, are ideal for this role.
