Technical Presales Consultant Job

We are seeking a skilled Technical Presales Consultant to play a key role in identifying and scoping new requests and enhancements to provide Phocas product and technical pre-sales expertise.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in presales, business analysis or implementation consulting in software or information services. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with manufacturing, retail and/or distribution industry knowledge are essential.

The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting project requirements and monitoring milestones. A good working knowledge of SQL, attention to detail and process-driven methodologies are also required.

  • Experience defining, implementing or supporting software B2B SaaS is preferred.
  • Familiarity with BI reporting tools, various ERP systems and knowing the ERP/partner ecosystem is ideal.

As a Technical Presales Consultant, you will support sales teams in prospect and customer meetings by providing guided demos that align customers' needs with the Phocas product suite. You will also build and maintain great customer relationships to ensure successful projects for both clients and Phocas Software.
