We are seeking a dedicated Safety and Risk Manager to join the team at a&co Recruitment Partners, a Not-for-Profit organisation based in the City fringe.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in reducing workplace risks, supporting staff, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective Work Health and Safety objectives.
  • Provide expert safety advice and support to ensure positive WHS outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and deliver WHS initiatives that promote safer working environments.
  • Evaluate compliance with WHS legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments, incident investigations, and audits to maintain high safety standards.
  • Support the Return to Work (RTW) process for injured workers and contribute to rehabilitation plans.
  • Analyse WHS data for reporting purposes and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Cert IV in Work Health and Safety.
  • Proven experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management, and safety standards.
  • The ability to advise and support staff across different communication needs.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and computer skills, particularly in MS Office.
  • A current driver's license.

The estimated salary for this position is between $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
