About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to join our team at Redpath Partners. As a key member of our safety leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our HSE processes and culture across the company.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Safety Management Plan to mitigate risks and enhance safety performance
  • Conduct regular risk management, governance, and assurance activities, including safety audits, inspections, and risk reduction networks
  • Implement operational health, safety, environment, and quality policies and systems
  • Ensure legislative compliance and maintain Safety Systems Accreditations
  • Manage site registers for Hazardous Substances, Electrical, Lifting Equipment, Ladders, Hazards, Environmental, and Induction
  • Assist with the return to work of injured employees and support effective rehabilitation
  • Manage sub-contractor compliance with inductions and documentation
  • Manage and conduct site inductions

About You

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in HSE management or a related field
  • Must have a Cert IV OHS&W
  • Extensive experience in construction safety management, with a strong understanding of construction processes, equipment, and hazards
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Able to present information in a clear and logical manner
  • High degree of computer literacy together with speed and accuracy
  • Strong administrative skills and familiar with document management systems and databases
  • High level of attention to detail, ability to analyze safety data and prepare reports and stats
