Finance Manager Position Description

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a capable finance team, ensuring the delivery of core financial operations while providing mentorship and leadership.

As Finance Manager, you will report directly to the Director of Corporate and Community Services and be responsible for leading annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes. You will also oversee statutory compliance, audits, and grant acquittals, as well as manage day-to-day finance operations, including rates, AP/AR, and treasury.

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar finance leadership role.

Desirable Skills:

  • CA or CPA qualification.
  • Experience working within or supporting local/state government service delivery.
