Policy Governance Manager

This position involves strategic management of people and policy responsibilities, encompassing day-to-day operations including recruitment, onboarding, employment contracts, position descriptions, employee relations issues, and employee development programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain current policies, develop and draft new policies to ensure ongoing compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.
- Assess risk and recommend changes in line with legislative requirements and the organization's vision and purpose.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated deep experience covering HR, policy development/drafting, and/or governance.
- Highly developed stakeholder engagement skills for collaborative work across the organization.
Desirable Qualities:
- Familiarity with Child Safe protocols, OH&S, RTO compliance, and policy writing.
