Key Responsibilities

The Senior Retail Manager will lead the execution and operational performance of the retail business. This includes acquiring, servicing, and retaining commercial and industrial customers through an ambitious growth strategy.

  • Develop and implement retail growth strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Drive customer acquisition and revenue growth through traditional and innovative market offerings.
  • Build and scale the retail function, including hiring and developing a high-performing team.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities, including expansion into new geographies or industry verticals.

This role requires 8+ years of experience in the Australian energy sector, with a strong track record of managing high-performing teams across commercial and operational domains.

Required skills include deep knowledge of retail energy pricing, contracting, customer lifecycle management, and regulatory requirements, as well as experience in billing systems, CRM tools, data management, and customer analytics.

Achieving success in this role requires strategic leadership, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to drive business outcomes through data-driven decision making.
