Job Overview:

We are seeking a senior legal professional to lead our Australian legal team. This key role involves providing strategic legal advice across various aspects of our business, including renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Australian legal team, managing at least three direct reports and ensuring effective day-to-day operations.
  • Provide legal guidance on company law, mergers and acquisitions, project finance, development, construction, and operations concerning Australian assets.
  • Negotiate contracts for development, construction, and operations, and advise internally on related matters.
  • Manage company books and provide expert advice on corporate and secretarial matters.
  • Assist with reorganizations, restructurings, and liquidations of Australian entities.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in the energy or infrastructure sectors and be able to deliver clear, concise legal advice in a fast-paced environment.

Location:

This role is based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane with a hybrid work arrangement.
