About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Kitchen Hand to join our team. If you enjoy working in a lively environment where teamwork and a positive atmosphere are valued, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

As a Kitchen Hand, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality customer service to internal and external clients according to prescribed standards.
  • Preparing food and beverages following standard operating procedures.
  • Carrying out cleaning tasks as per procedures or as directed by the Chef on duty.
  • Communicating any catering issues or needs to the Chef on duty.
  • Completing operational cleaning requirements as directed.
  • Participating in team meetings as required.

The successful candidate will be available for a mix of morning and afternoon shifts, including weekends.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Alignment with our core values.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for delivering excellent service and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of HACCP / food safety standards.
  • Cert III in Cookery or Hospitality (preferred but not essential).
  • Ability to lift up to 20kg.
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical.
  • Ability to pass a National Police Check.

Experience in customer service, hospitality, or commercial kitchens is desirable but not mandatory.
