Job Description

As a Rigging Supervisor, you will be responsible for participating and promoting site safety initiatives and procedures. This includes embracing the SIMSafe culture framework to ensure a safe working environment.

The role involves monitoring daily works, including quality inspections, daily progress reporting, and safety leadership activities. You will also coordinate work crew plant equipment and materials to achieve operational outcomes and targets safely.

In addition, you will promote conduct and amend risk assessments to identify highlight and implement mitigation strategies as required. Your role will also involve supporting coaching and effectively communicating with team members to ensure consistent dealings with work crews in all areas.

You will be required to perform tasks such as coordinating work crew plant equipment and materials to achieve operational outcomes and targets safely. This will include implementing effective planning scheduling management of personnel resources and equipment to meet project requirements.

Furthermore, you will be expected to develop well-developed interpersonal influencing and communication skills written and verbal with the ability to build positive working relationships at all levels.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Trade qualification in a related discipline is essential.
  • Minimum 4 years industry experience in a supervisory role is required.
  • Experience in effective planning scheduling management of personnel resources and equipment to meet project requirements is necessary.
  • Well-developed interpersonal influencing and communication skills written and verbal with the ability to build positive working relationships at all levels are required.
  • Developed time management skills to effectively manage competing priorities are essential.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite Outlook Excel Word is necessary.
