Goodstart Early Learning is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team in Townsville as a Practice & Inclusion Partner.
As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing coaching and advice on quality, inclusive early childhood education and care (ECEC) practices. You will share your expertise with centre teams, supporting their teaching, learning, and inclusion for all children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-demand and responsive support to Goodstarters nationally through the Practice and Inclusion Helpdesk.
- Share your skills and experiences with centre teams, supporting their teaching and learning for all children, including those with additional needs.
- Work directly with selected centres in delivering Quality Improvement Plan actions, coaching and modelling sustainable teaching and learning practices.
- Offer specialist inclusion advice and consultancy to centre leadership teams to enable high-quality targeted and intensive inclusion support.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A 4-year Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education from a recognised university.
- Demonstrated capability of supporting and coaching teams to deliver high-quality, inclusive early learning.
- Extensive experience in delivering high-quality, inclusive early learning (aged birth to 8 years).
- Leadership experience, with a proven track record of coaching high-performing teams.
- Comprehensive knowledge of community and government networks/resources and proven skill in utilising these to develop partnerships, services, and programs.
- Excellent communication, organisational, evaluation, and team leadership skills.
