We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Technician to join our team at Daifuku in Erskine Park, Sydney.

As a global leader in materials handling automation, we continue to experience rapid growth and are looking for someone who can help us maintain our competitive edge.

The ideal candidate will have a trade qualification in the mechanical industry and prior experience working through preventative maintenance schedules.

You will be responsible for ensuring that our material handling system and other onsite infrastructure is operational and rectifying issues safely and efficiently.

This includes performing diagnostic tests, following mechanical maintenance plans to prevent equipment breakdowns, troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions, and repairing necessary components.

In addition, you will support the clearance of faults and materials jams, and schedule maintenance tasks as needed.

To be successful in this role, you will need strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand mechanical assembly drawings.

You should also have knowledge of fault diagnostic systems, processes, and repairs, as well as experience with mechanical drives, pneumatics, and hydraulics.

We offer a competitive salary range of AU$90,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including an employee wellness program, peer-to-peer recognition and rewards program, and opportunities for professional development.
