Product Development Specialist

We are seeking an accomplished product manager with a minimum of 2 years' experience in sales, technical support, or the electrical/solar industry. A background in sales or technical support is preferred as you will be working closely with international vendors and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:- Source and introduce new products aligned with customer and market needs
- Develop and maintain relationships with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and manufacturers
- Build and execute go-to-market strategies including pricing, promotions, and launch planning
- Deliver product training and support to internal teams and resellers
- Support inventory management, forecasting, and product lifecycle planning
- Collaborate with the sales team to uncover growth opportunities
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis
- Assist in monitoring key performance indicators and provide insights for product line improvements
- Contribute to business plans and detailed marketing initiatives
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in sales, product, account management, or technical support in the solar or electrical industry (non-IT)
- Fluent Mandarin language skills – verbal and written
- Ability to build strong internal and external relationships
- Confident working with suppliers and negotiating agreements
- Strong time management, communication, and organisational skills
- Detail-focused and analytical, with basic financial understanding
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), G Suite, and Dropbox
