About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our Equity Research team in Sydney. This is a 12-month maximum-term contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Update and maintain financial models and industry databases while undertaking company and market analysis.
  • Contribute to the publication of research reports and assist in reviewing quarterly results, and sector updates.
  • Participate in coverage initiation on new companies and engage with senior stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • A tertiary qualification in a quantitative, economics, finance or similar discipline.
  • Strong numerical and modelling skills and well-versed in financial concepts such as ratio analysis, valuation techniques and financial modelling.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to build good relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a passion in equity research and a willingness to learn.
  • Completed or completing CA or CFA qualifications is advantageous.
