Opportunity to Work in Equities Research Team

We are seeking an experienced research associate/analyst to join our senior and well-regarded resources & energy equity research team at Platinum Pacific Partners.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a recognised global name covering large cap miners. The successful candidate will support the Head of Resources & Energy, providing extensive research coverage across ASX-listed companies in the Resources sector.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Perform valuations that underpin stock recommendations through analysis, financial modelling, and company/industry insights.
  • Help prepare presentations and marketing materials for various stakeholders, including external fund manager clients and internal Institutional Research sales and trading team.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree or above in business, commerce, or a mining technical related discipline (such as geology or engineering), preferably with a finance and/or accounting specialisation.
  • 3-8 years' experience as a research associate/analyst or alternatively a relevant industry discipline.
  • CFA or MBA an advantage, but not essential.
  • Strong analytical, Excel, and financial modelling skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal sensitivity, communication, relationship, and management skills.
