About the Role

This is a key leadership position in our Cybersecurity, Information Assurance and Data Protection team. We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our efforts in protecting sensitive information and building trust in our services.

  • The successful candidate will provide strategic oversight of cybersecurity, privacy and data governance, aligned with our business and technology goals.
  • They will foster a culture of security and privacy awareness across the organisation and embed secure practices.
  • The role involves overseeing records and information governance in line with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Key responsibilities include driving the adoption of enterprise data governance frameworks, developing and implementing a cybersecurity roadmap, and monitoring and managing cyber/data risks.
  • The successful candidate will also develop and sustain security and privacy policies and governance structures aligned with industry standards and best practice.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong background in leading security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and Essential Eight, as well as data protection and enterprise data governance.
  • Experience managing breach notifications and privacy governance.
  • Senior-level experience advising executives and driving outcomes in large or complex organisations.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and balance competing priorities.
  • Leadership skills to guide, develop and drive performance in high-performing teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management expertise, with experience navigating government processes.
