About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive governance framework that aligns with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and risk management strategies.

  • Supporting the implementation of technical safeguards including DLP, encryption, and data masking.
  • Guiding and educating teams on data governance principles and supporting audits.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Measuring governance effectiveness through clear KPIs and reporting.
  • Staying ahead of evolving governance, privacy, and security trends.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing data governance frameworks, experience applying data protection principles, and expertise in building audit-ready data lifecycle processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Chair or coordinate data governance forums and working groups.

Closer collaboration with various stakeholders, including IT, security, and compliance teams, is essential to ensure seamless data governance and protection practices.

Excellent stakeholder management skills, leadership capability, and tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent professional experience are highly desirable.
