Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Architect and Designer to join our team.

This role requires a creative problem solver who can handle both design and documentation responsibilities, working alongside experienced project leaders to deliver award-winning projects from concept to completion.

You will collaborate with the Design Leader to bring client briefs to life, produce project documents in accordance with the client brief, and provide technical support on drawings and documentation.

You should be able to communicate effectively through sketches, 3D visualizations, and technical drawings, liaise with external consultants, and contribute to hands-on documentation across DA/CD stages when required.


Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Design Leader: Work closely with the Design Leader to develop innovative solutions that meet client needs and expectations.
  • Produce Project Documents: Create accurate and detailed project documents, including drawings, specifications, and other relevant information.
  • Provide Technical Support: Offer expert technical support on drawings and documentation, ensuring that all deliverables meet high standards.
  • Liaise with External Consultants: Build effective relationships with external consultants, including cross-checking drawings and Revit models.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 6-10 years of experience: Proven track record of success in the architecture field, with a strong understanding of design principles and best practices.
  • Master's Degree in Architecture: A postgraduate degree in architecture, demonstrating your expertise in design theory, history, and practice.
  • Strong Revit skills: Proficiency in Autodesk Revit software, with the ability to create complex designs and navigate its functionality.
  • Proficiency in Rhino software: Experience with Rhinoceros software, including Grasshopper scripting for dynamic modeling and parametric design.
  • Solid knowledge of the Adobe suite: Familiarity with InDesign, Photoshop, and other Creative Cloud applications, enabling you to produce high-quality visual communications.
  • Enscape skills: Ability to use Enscape rendering software to create photorealistic images and animations.
  • Demonstrate expertise in overarching concept design to design development: Showcasing your ability to take a project from initial concept to completed design, meeting client expectations and delivering results.
  • Local BCA standards and regulation knowledge: Understanding of local building codes and regulations, ensuring compliance and accuracy in your work.
  • Able to mentor and guide less-experienced team members: Willingness to share your expertise and experience with junior team members, fostering growth and development within the organization.
