Job Title: Research Awards Coordinator
Job Description:Macquarie University is seeking a highly skilled individual to fill the role of Research Awards Coordinator.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing institutional oversight to all aspects of project establishment and post award grants administration.
This includes reviewing and revising new and existing processes, interpreting and providing guidance on funding rules and regulations, managing the review, execution and administration of sponsored grants-related research contracts, and developing efficient and effective post award processes and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and relevant experience and/or significant relevant knowledge and experience.
- Demonstrated experience engaging in process improvements with a view to ensure best outcomes for stakeholders.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others, including demonstrated experience working effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external to the organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to educate/train researchers regarding post-award requirements to ensure best outcomes of their funded projects.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret financial documentation and reporting.
