Job Description:

- We are seeking a passionate and experienced Family Support Coordinator to lead and grow family support initiatives across Queensland.">
- In this role, you will work alongside families, carers, and key stakeholders to provide practical support, advocacy, and capacity-building.">
- As a Family Support Coordinator, you will develop and implement family support and placement support strategies, provide guidance and supervision to staff delivering family support services, engage with families to identify their strengths, needs, and goals, and build strong community and sector partnerships.">
- You will also contribute to service development, reporting, and compliance with funding requirements, and liaise with relevant government departments to drive the growth of referrals.">
Required Skills and Qualifications:
">- ">
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related field.">
- Demonstrated experience in family support, child protection, or related services.">
- Strong leadership and coordination skills with the ability to motivate and support teams.">
- High-level communication and stakeholder engagement skills.">
- Understanding of cultural competency and commitment to working alongside First Nations families and communities.">
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and frameworks.">
