Team Lead Position

The Team Lead position is a pivotal role within our care team. It involves supervising and coordinating care across the facility, ensuring individual needs, wishes, and goals are met in a supportive environment.

This opportunity is ideal for Endorsed Enrolled Nurses or Personal Care Workers with relevant qualifications to take the next step in their career. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for providing social and emotional support to residents, coordinating care needs, and leading/supervising care on shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate care across the facility
  • Provide social and emotional support to residents
  • Coordinate care needs and lead/supervise care on shift
  • Support the Clinical Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Relevant qualifications: Diploma of Enrolled Nursing (with APRHA Registration to administer medication) OR Certificate IV in Ageing Support (including HLTHPS007 Administer & Monitor Medicines)
  • High level of commitment, integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness
  • Effective listener with ability to communicate at all levels both orally and in writing
  • Ability to understand and use information technology and programs and to learn new skills as required
  • Current National police check
  • Working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control
