The acute/subacute speech pathology team works within multidisciplinary teams across sites and in partnership with community teams.

The grade 2 speech pathologist provides evidence-based and person-centred clinical care in partnership with patients and families.

Key responsibilities include providing assessment and management practices, developing communication skills, and contributing to quality and service improvement activities.

Desirable criteria include experience in student and speech pathology clinical supervision, videofluoroscopy competency, and tracheostomy proficiency.
