Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Manager, Research Legal in handling contract administration, due diligence, and governance processes for research initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with the Research Funding Team and researchers to negotiate and finalise research contracts, ensuring risk management and facilitating research funding.

Working Relationships:

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to advance research agenda and support office goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to assess requirements for due diligence and administrative contracts management.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Assist in triage of research contracts and agreements to assess requirements for due diligence and administrative contracts management;
  • Support governance required for research contracts, agreements, and subcontracts from initial negotiation with external partners to execution;
  • Ensure researchers comply with internal requirements and understand contractual milestones and other key obligations.
