About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated NDIS Support Coordinator to join our organisation. As an NDIS Support Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in helping individuals with disabilities achieve greater independence by assessing their unique needs and identifying the necessary services and support required to attain their goals.

You will work closely with clients to coordinate their supports, ensuring they maximise their NDIS plans and address any barriers through the implementation of action plans.

  • Developing strong relationships with clients, their families and external service providers.
  • Driving as required to visit clients.
  • Assisting clients in negotiating with providers about the services they can offer and helping them understand the costs involved from their NDIS budget.
  • Working within billable hours and targets.
  • Ensuring service agreements are completed.
  • Taking a holistic approach to capacity building and assisting clients in breaking down and addressing their barriers.
Your Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Previous experience working with, and a thorough understanding of, the NDIS and the ability to comprehend facets of NDIS Plans/Budgets.
  • Experience with billing targets and case noting.
  • High-level administration experience, compliance capabilities and IT skills - particularly with Excel.
  • A business mindset and a customer service focus.
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills with high-level organisational skills.
