Upholsterer Workshop Assistant Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Upholsterer Workshop assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the upholstery field but training will be provided for the right individual.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with upholstery work including cutting stitching and finishing tasks
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and quality in all work
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Communicate clearly and positively with colleagues and management
  • Adhere to safe work practices and workplace health and safety standards

Requirements:

  • Experience in Upholstery training available
  • Strong attention to detail and quality focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated and positive attitude
  • Understanding of safe work practices and workplace health and safety

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Trade certificate or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of upholstery materials and techniques
