About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operational Readiness Manager to join our team at Allianz Popular SL. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless transition of new technology solutions into our Australian Operating Entity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the definition and management of critical operational readiness requirements, milestones, and activities to support the introduction of new Transformation solutions.
  • Ensure accountability for meeting Operational Readiness criteria and targets, guaranteeing that all functional and non-functional requirements, as well as operational deliverables, are completed, available, and embedded.
  • Drive and track performance of operational readiness against defined milestones, reporting on progress, risks, resolutions, and escalations of issues through governance channels as needed.
  • Provide expertise in operational readiness, managing critical interfaces with key business stakeholders, including Transformation Vertical Leads, Horizontal Leads, and IT Leads.
  • Review and influence operational readiness requirements to ensure they are being addressed in security and risk assurance processes and are being effectively mitigated.
  • Define and communicate operational readiness capability requirements to the business.
  • Manage and facilitate operational readiness exercises to support stakeholders in preparing to operate and maintain new assets and capabilities being delivered.
About You
  • Seasoned project manager with a strong background in operational readiness or service design for similar large programs.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the general insurance industry and financial services.
  • Experience in building and executing UAT plans, including tracking, defect resolution, and sign-off.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders, external partners, and suppliers to establish strong professional relationships and influence outcomes.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and assess risks inherent to the business and put in place appropriate controls/actions to manage the risks for future sustainability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact, and influence.
  • Ability to identify issues, obstacles, and opportunities, and then develop, present, and implement effective solutions.
