Job Description

We are seeking an experienced business origination professional to lead the development of new business opportunities in the public sector market. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in originating and developing business in this complex and dynamic market.

The role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders, including underwriting, structuring, pricing, compliance, and customer distribution management teams, as well as external partners such as brokers, non-profits, and international organizations.

The Public Sector Business Origination Lead will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and driving the origination process from opportunity qualification to execution.

This is a critical role that requires strong commercial acumen, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated success in originating and developing business in the public sector market, ideally with 5+ years relevant experience
  • Proven track record of delivering revenue growth and profitability targets
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with multiple competing priorities and deadlines
