The role of Senior Markets Director entails spearheading strategic leadership and oversight of funding and investing activities, encompassing sourcing borrowings, managing foreign exchange risk, overseeing balance sheet and liquidity management, and investing surplus funds on behalf of the company and its clients with a forward-thinking approach.
- Spearhead development and execution of funding and liquidity management plans to ensure uninterrupted access to financial markets;
- Develop and oversee balance sheet (ALM) risk management strategies responsive to market conditions, client requirements, and the broader risk environment;
- Collaborate across the organisation to develop and implement investor relations engagement strategies and the sustainability program ensuring both are integrated in planning and operational activities;
- Provide strategic advice and recommendations to the Executive on borrowing investment hedging strategies and client lending products and services;
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of domestic and international liability management trends;
- Contribute to the development of future corporate strategic directions through influence and facilitation;
