Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Accountant to enhance our Business Advisory team. This role presents an exceptional opportunity for career growth within a collaborative environment, where you will engage with a variety of clients and benefit from extensive learning and development resources.
Key Responsibilities
This position is both challenging and rewarding, designed to facilitate your progression in the accounting field through comprehensive training, support, and technical exposure. You will collaborate closely with senior team members, including the Partner, to provide advisory services and a range of accounting solutions to our expanding client base. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Generating and maintaining financial reports utilizing Xero, MYOB, and Reckon Software
- Preparing management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and key performance indicators for clients
- Completing BAS and IAS returns
- Drafting tax returns, FBT, and financial statements for various business entities
- Calculating and reconciling payroll tax obligations
- Supporting the development of junior team members
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess established accounting experience, complemented by a relevant tertiary qualification. You should be pursuing or aspiring to CA or CPA qualifications. A solid technical foundation, along with the ability to prepare financial statements and management reports, is essential. Effective communication skills to convey complex information to clients are also crucial. We value proactive individuals with a keen attention to detail and ambitious career aspirations.
