Role Overview
This position presents a unique opportunity for an experienced Accountant to enhance their career within a collaborative and supportive environment. You will engage with a variety of clients, benefiting from extensive professional development resources.
Key Responsibilities
In this dynamic role, you will be instrumental in delivering comprehensive accounting solutions. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Generating and maintaining financial reports utilizing software such as Xero, MYOB, and Reckon.
- Preparing management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and key performance indicators for clients.
- Compiling Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS).
- Drafting tax returns, Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) submissions, and financial statements for various business entities.
- Calculating and reconciling payroll tax obligations.
- Supporting the professional growth of junior team members.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess solid accounting experience, complemented by a relevant tertiary qualification. You should be pursuing or aspiring to obtain CA or CPA credentials. A strong technical foundation in generating financial statements and management reports is essential, along with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. We seek a proactive individual with meticulous attention to detail and ambitious career aspirations.
