About the Position

This role will provide 1:1, shared, and group supports tailored to individual recovery goals. You'll support residents to:

  • Develop daily living and self-management skills
  • Strengthen social connections and community ties
  • Gain confidence and independence to live well
Main Responsibilities
  • Support clients to return to their community, live independently, and enjoy a meaningful life through a staged approach to recovery.
  • Deliver high-quality services and facilitate positive educational experiences.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team offering specialized psychosocial support.
  • Plan and deliver group programs that aid clients to build their skills and focus on recovery.
  • Collaborate with various services and the community to ensure a coordinated response to the client's recovery goals.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or other related fields.
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health challenges and complex needs, including families and carers.
  • A proven ability to implement therapeutic frameworks and practices, including risk mitigation, trauma-informed care, and family-inclusive practice.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
