Technical Support Specialist Job Description

The Technical Support Specialist is a crucial member of the service team, providing technical assistance to customers and ensuring seamless operation of gaming equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality technical support to customers, encompassing troubleshooting and resolving complex system faults.
  • Conduct equipment upgrades, modifications, and game changes at customer sites as needed.
  • Install and remove gaming equipment according to requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve problems, performing repair work when necessary.
  • Implement routine preventive maintenance procedures.
Reporting and Compliance Requirements:
  • Collect and document all activities in accordance with company standards.
  • Record and return parts within stipulated timeframes.
  • Utilize designated reporting tools, updating them in real-time with utmost accuracy.
  • Meet requests from other departments with professionalism.
Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) & Compliance:
  • Ensure thorough understanding of and adherence to Company WHS policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Maintain the health, safety, and well-being of all employees, visitors, and contractors.
  • Follow established accident/incident/near miss processes, conducting investigations as required.
  • Ensure all activities meet Company and legislative compliance requirements.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent problem-solving and fault diagnostic skills are essential.
  • Proven ability to work independently with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong level of technical competencies and proficiency in computer skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain and hold relevant licenses and certifications.
