Operational Risk Manager Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Operational Risk Manager to lead our engineering team in delivering scalable, secure cloud-native data solutions.

  • Critical Infrastructure Management: Lead the design and delivery of critical infrastructure that powers risk processes across the organization.
  • Engineering Team Leadership: Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement among high-performing engineers.
  • Technical Roadmap Development: Shape the technical roadmap for Operational and Compliance solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and enterprise architecture.
  • Cloud-Native Solutions: Oversee the development of real-time streaming, analytics, and AI-driven personalization capabilities.
  • Best Practices Champion: Promote CI/CD, observability, and secure-by-design principles across the engineering lifecycle.
What You'll Do:
  1. Develop and implement strategies to drive reusability and platform adoption, enabling faster delivery for product teams through modular capabilities and shared services.
  2. Mentor and develop talent, providing technical guidance, career support, and performance feedback to engineers.
  3. Collaborate across domains to ensure platform capabilities support enterprise-wide decisioning, financial crime detection, and customer intelligence.

  • Proven experience in leading engineering teams within large-scale cloud-native data platform environments.
  • Strong background in software engineering and platform architecture, with hands-on experience in real-time data ingestion, transformation, and operation.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to modernize legacy systems, influence technical direction, and drive platform adoption.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a passion for growing diverse, high-performing engineering communities.
