Senior Quality Assurance Manager

The Maritime Cross Platform Systems Program Office is seeking a highly skilled Assurance and Performance Manager to lead a team responsible for the planning and management of assurance checks on engineering and logistics activities in support of the Australian Defence Force.
This role will require utilising a range of processes and technologies, such as audits, desk-top reviews, research, market analysis, etc. to analyse and report on logistics planning, practices and processes, technical regulation controls and Industry Partner deliverables.
The successful candidate will be accountable for leading a team, managing allocated resources, setting work area priorities, managing workflows, developing strategies and evaluating business outcomes.
They will also provide clear and consistent communication, setting clear performance and behavioural standards, managing performance, delegating responsibility and guiding and developing people.
The role involves identifying, assessing, prioritising and coordinating quality assurance, governance and reporting activities, as well as being responsible for accurate completion of work within timeframes and quality requirements.
Other key responsibilities include sharing expertise with others, guiding and mentoring less experienced employees, planning, leading and managing quality assurance, governance, auditing and corporate reporting activities, and implementing efficient and effective quality assurance, governance and business reporting functionalities.
About Our TeamThe Maritime Cross Platform Systems Program Office within the Maritime Systems Division is the lead agency for delivery of cross-class sustainment services and advice across the maritime environment.
