The Opportunity

As a Senior Accountant at Kelly+Partners, you will play a key role in enabling our next phase of growth. You will work closely with our Partners to deliver exceptional service to our clients and help them achieve their business goals.

Position Responsibilities

Senior Accountant Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner
  • Take lead in the preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSFs
  • Prepare BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT, and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts
  • Prepare and deliver annual workers compensation and payroll tax reconciliations
  • Be coached directly by an experienced Partner with an aim to manage a diverse portfolio of clients
  • Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients
  • Help provide an exceptional service to our clients
  • Participate in training seminars, team meetings, and social events
  • Offer support and training to junior team members
About You
  • Experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice
  • Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar
  • Experience using accounting software, including MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, APS, MYOB, Xero, and QuickBooks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
