About This Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to lead diabetes care in a top teaching hospital. The successful candidate will have excellent clinical skills and experience in the acute hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering patient-centred diabetes education
  • Supporting staff and mentoring students
  • Advocating for patient and carer needs
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Promoting best practice and safe care

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be able to work autonomously and within a collaborative team environment, and prioritize and manage their own workload effectively.

Requirements
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) (NSW Registered Nurse – Division 1)
  • Recent experience in the acute hospital setting and demonstrated excellent clinical skills in diabetes management
  • Credentialed diabetes educator or working towards
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure patients, carers and families are well informed, engaged and confident about care and treatment, within the scope of a Registered Nurse/Midwife
Benefits
