Senior Manager, Media Relations and Corporate Communications Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned media and communications professional to join our team as Senior Manager, Media Relations and Corporate Communications. This is a key role in implementing our enterprise strategy for corporate relations through media and other external communications channels to enhance our reputation and influence.
The successful candidate will play a multi-faceted role in narrative development, proactive and reactive national and trade media engagement, and provide ongoing support to our Executive and Leadership team. You will be responsible for crafting proactive communication plans, messaging and content, and supporting engagement and advocacy with the life insurance industry, professional or industry associations, and government agencies.
About YouWe are looking for a highly experienced communications professional with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar capacity. You will possess a proven track record of success in managing communications campaigns, both proactively and reactively under time pressure and immense scrutiny. You will have existing connections with relevant media, publishing, and/or government agencies, which will allow you to navigate and leverage on these relationships to enhance our external reputation, positioning, and outlook in the media.
You will bring outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal) that will enable you to create briefing notes, presentations, media materials, speeches, and digital content. You will be a strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively with our Executive and Leadership team to achieve our strategic objectives.
