As a seasoned professional, you will oversee the full project life cycle from inception to completion, utilizing your expertise to drive successful outcomes and deliver exceptional results.
This role is ideal for individuals with strong project management skills, who can effectively communicate with stakeholders and provide specialist advice to navigate challenges and achieve project goals.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in project management principles and be able to supervise and manage projects of varying sizes and complexities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project plans to ensure timely delivery and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders through effective communication and stakeholder management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and high levels of productivity.
- Contribute to a positive team culture by supporting change activities and actively promoting a collaborative work environment.
- Execute and monitor work progress against plans and budgets, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and policies.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you will have a tertiary qualification in Project Management or a related field and/or several years of demonstrated experience in Capital Project Management.
- Demonstrated experience in project management within the construction management or recreation facilities sectors.
- Proven ability to make quality decisions using sound judgement and expertise within a project management context.
- A solid understanding of the construction industry and local government requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and achieve task outcomes.
- Strong people skills to support, influence, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders.
- A current Victorian Driver's License.
PREFERRED CANDIDATES WILL BE REQUIRED TO UNDERGO A NATIONAL POLICE CHECK AND CURRENT WORKING WITH CHILDREN CARD.
