This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, supervising a team of care workers to deliver high-quality services to our residents.
The Homemaker will be responsible for allocating tasks to team members, promoting a cohesive and harmonious work environment, and ensuring that all aspects of household operations run smoothly.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Manage queries and feedback from residents and their families, colleagues, and other service providers
- Maintain equipment in safe working order, arrange maintenance and repairs when needed
- Track supplies and consumables, re-ordering as needed within budget guidelines
- Assist residents with daily living activities and personal care, prioritizing their dignity and independence
- Contribute to continuous improvement of our service, ensuring it meets Aged Care Accreditation Standards
What You'll Need:
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A Certificate IV in Aged Care or equivalent qualification
- Previous supervisory experience in aged or community care (or similar industry)
- Adaptability, resourcefulness, and the ability to live our values of compassion, respect, imagination, and boldness every day
- Experience using client/data management systems
- (Desirable) Assist Clients with Medication (HLTHPS006), Recognise Healthy Body Systems (HLTAP301B), Provide Support to People Living with Dementia (CHCAGE005)
